1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to sfact.io, operated as a Delaware Limited Liability Company ("sfact.io," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services, including our paid game server hosting and free shared saves services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Services

2.1 Paid Game Server Hosting

We provide token-based Satisfactory game server hosting services. Users purchase tokens at $0.25 each and spend them when running Game Saves on our infrastructure. Billing is calculated by the minute and rounded down in your favor.

2.2 Free Shared Saves

We provide a free community service allowing users to upload and share Satisfactory save files. Anyone can launch temporary, read-only copies of shared saves for exploration.

2.3 Beta Status

Our paid game server hosting service is currently in private beta by invitation only. Our shared saves service is production-ready and available to all users.

3. Account Registration and Authentication

You may create an account using email/password signup or Google Sign-In. Anonymous/guest accounts are available for limited functionality.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4. Token System and Billing

4.1 Token Pricing

Tokens are sold at $0.25 each with a minimum purchase of 20 tokens ($5.00). Tokens do not expire as long as you maintain an account and we continue operating the service.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay). Cryptocurrency payment options (Bitcoin/Lightning) are coming soon. We do not store payment information and only retain encrypted payment tokens as necessary.

4.3 Billing

You are only charged when your Game Save is in a playable state as determined by our health checks. Billing is calculated by the minute and rounded down. No charges apply during server startup, maintenance, or outages.

4.4 Auto-Purchase

Automatic token purchasing functionality is coming soon and will be optional when available.

5. Refund Policy

We provide full automatic refunds for any service downtime. For general refunds, we offer a 100% money back guarantee provided you request the refund within 24 hours of purchase to prevent abuse.

Refund requests can be made through our support chat or self-service options in your dashboard.

Upon account closure, unused tokens are not refunded.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of your game save files. By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to host and process your files as necessary to provide our Services.

6.2 Shared Saves

When you share saves publicly, you grant other users a limited viewing license only. You can delete your content at any time.

6.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that is illegal, violates Satisfactory's Terms of Service, contains sexually explicit material, constitutes hate speech or harassment, or infringes on copyrights.

6.4 Commercial Use

Commercial use of our Services requires our permission. Please contact us for commercial licensing.

7. User Conduct and Satisfactory Compliance

You must comply with Coffee Stain Studios' Satisfactory Terms of Service when using our Services. We operate as an independent third-party service without official partnership with Coffee Stain Studios.

Mod support is fully available (implementation coming soon). You are responsible for ensuring any mods you use comply with applicable terms and policies.

8. Service Availability and Technical Terms

We provide our Services on a best effort basis without formal service level agreements. Emergency maintenance may be performed without advance notice.

We automatically back up your save files every 5 minutes and provide automatic restore from the last backup in case of hardware failure. Manual restore options are also available with best effort recovery.

Storage limits are 1GB for active storage and 100GB for archival storage per user. There are no limits on concurrent Game Saves per user.

9. Account Termination and Data Retention

Account deletion requires a waiting period. After account closure, we retain data indefinitely for business and legal purposes, though you may request specific data deletion where legally permissible.

We may terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Support and Communications

Support is provided directly by our engineers during business hours via live chat. We aim to respond within 24 hours on a best effort basis.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. You can choose your notification preferences for service announcements.

11. Privacy and Security

We employ encryption in transit and at rest using standard cloud provider encryption. In the event of a security breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours.

Our Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of changes through dashboard notifications. Your continued use of our Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Delaware law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Delaware courts.

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and maintain full takedown procedures for copyright infringement claims.

15. Future AI Integration

When we integrate AI features, they will be clearly labeled. We do not use user data for AI training purposes.
