we're justaddicted to this game
We're software engineers who sink way too many hours into Satisfactory. We wanted an easier way to show our friends what we'd built, so we made Shared Saves - a free way to let anyone explore your build in-game, no download required.
Why we're here
Sharing a build in Satisfactory has always been a chore. A screenshot doesn't do it justice. Downloading a save file and running your own machine is friction nobody wants. We wanted something better.
Shared Saves is our answer. Upload your save once, share the link, and anyone with the game can explore what you built in-game — no download required. No account, no payment, nothing saved on their end. It's free, and we're committed to keeping it that way — a 20-minute session costs us less than a penny to run, so the math works. We committed to not monetizing Shared Saves.
One link, one click — you're in someone else's game.
A live Satisfactory session, not a video tour.
Talk to either of us directly, not a support queue.
Built by
There is just us. We write software by day and play an embarrassing amount of Satisfactory the rest of the time.

David handles the behind-the-scenes part — the bit that spins up a server with your save on it and cleans everything up when the session ends.
- Builds and maintains the Kubernetes + GCP plumbing
- Gets a session back fast when a server drops
- Watches the graphs so we notice before you do

Nathan builds the front and back end. — the UX, and the upload flow that takes a .sav off your hard drive and turns it into something a friend can hop into. Mostly he just wanted sharing a build to feel as easy as sending a link.
- Builds the site and data architecture
- Thinks about how the whole thing feels
- Makes the tools so we can share our own builds
What we care about
Not a mission statement — just the few things we want to get right.
One link, one click, you're in the game. No accounts, no downloads, no setup for the people walking through your build.
We're chasing what online Satisfactory could be, not just what it is. Shared Saves is the first step.
We built this for Satisfactory players, and we want the community shaping where it goes next.
